Introduction From the President

Let me take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am Chuck Mueller, President of the Facility Operators and Service Providers Association (FOSPA), serving the greater St. Louis metropolitan area. Our group is an independent organization that was chartered on January 1, 2003. To say we are growing rapidly is an understatement; however we expect to be up to 100 active members by the end of the year.

For years, I have realized the power of networking with individuals in my Industry. So much that I started an “End Users Group” that met once a month. We took tours of St. Louis facilities, helped each other in our careers, shared ideas and just had fun socializing with individuals who have common interests. Now our group has seen the advantages of a greater organization and decided to develop FOSPA. As our association grows, we are seeing even more benefits; I only hope that you too, will see the benefits of being a member, as we have.

Our members are loyal to each other, opening doors that otherwise may be shut. Whether you are buying, selling, designing, building or just trying to fix that aggravating problem for the sixth time; we have members who can help you find the solutions you need to make your job easier and more productive.

Our mission is, “To provide a monthly educational program, at the least possible cost, that is fun, productive and informative”. This organization is designed for all personnel involved in maintenance and operations, from the facilities manager to the HVAC technician. Over the course of the year we will provide tours and training that will be of interest to all cross-sections of personnel. If you are not already a member, I hope you decide to join.
