November's FOSPA Meeting (Thursday November 4th, 2010)
will be useful to anyone who is responsible for pump performance in your facilities. Learn to manage Chilled Water, Hot Water, Waste Water, Tower, Fire as well as any other type of pump or pumping system. Cardinal Pump of St. Louis, has arranged for Jeff Hawks to present a program designed to help you avoid operational upsets with pumps and related equipment in your facility.
The Program is entitled "Why do Pumps Fail"?
Jeff created this program to meet the criteria of Continuing Education for Municipal Water and Waste Water Plant Operators. This program gives all who attend, a chance to learn how hydraulic systems function and how to best operate them.
Jeff has been involved in process pumps for over 40 years. Jeff started his own 3 State stocking, servicing, process pumps distributorship in Ohio and operated Buckeye Pumps Inc. for 20 years before selling the company to the employees. Prior to his own business Jeff was VP of the Warren Rupp Company; VP of Red Jacket Pump and for 12 years VP of Aurora Pumps Inc.
The Program will... DISPEL URBAN MYTHS. LEARN OPERATIONAL BEST PRACTICES. SAVE DOWN TIME. Why do pumps fail? Who is at fault? Who is responsible? What can we do to resolve the problem? What can we do to avoid the problem? Plan to spend an hour or two and broaden your horizons.
Note: In order for our hosts to supply ample food and drink, please RSVP for each person in your organization attending the monthly presentations. Thanks!
